Materials:
1 skein of
cotton yarn, #6 or #7 Knitting Needles.
Notes: B1 = K1, P3Tog = Purl 3 stitches together,
SK2P=Sl 1, K2Tog, PSSO, SKP=Slip 1, K1, PSSO.
Cast on:
Multiple of 6 + 1 (18 + 1=19 + 2=21) Cast
on 21
Border:
Rows 1-2: Knit across.
Pattern:
Row 1: (RS) B1, K1, *YO, P1, P3Tog, P1, YO, K1; repeat from *,
end B1.
Row 2: B1, P19, B1.
Row 3: B1, K2, YO SK2P, YO, *K3, YO, SK2P, YO; repeat from * to last
3: K2, B1.
Row 4: B1, P19, B1.
Row 5: B1, P2Tog, P1, YO, K1, YO, P1, *P3Tog, P1, YO, K1, YO, P1;
repeat from * to last 3: P2Tog, B1.
Row 6: B1, P19, B1.
Row 7: B1, K2Tog, YO, K3, YO, *SK2P, YO, K3, YO; repeat from * to
last 3: SKP, B1.
Row 8: B1, P19, B1.
Repeat rows 1-8 till desired length,
I repeated rows 1-8 for 2 more times and rows 1-4 one more time.
Notes:
With a YO and P1, make sure your YO
goes over the needle.
Make sure you repeat your YO’s where
designated or your stitch count will be off. If it is involved with a repeat
set (*-*), make sure you repeat along with the set.
Dishcloth:
Cast on 30+1=31 +8 border = 39. Work as above.
