Materials:
1 skein of
cotton yarn, #6 US Knitting Needles.
Note: B2: border stitches K2; P3Tog =
Purl 3 stitches together; (K1, P1, K1 in same stitch= K1, place yarn in front,
P1, place yarn in back K1, then remove from needle, you will have 3 stitches on
the needle.)
Cast on:
Multiple of 4 + border (20 + 4Border = 24)
Border:
Rows 1-2: Knit
across.
Pattern:
Row 1: B2, P20, B2
Row 2: B2, (K1, P1, K1) in next stitch, P3Tog;
repeat from * end B2.
Row 3: B2, P20, B2.
Row 4: B2, *P3Tog, (K1, P1, K1) in next stitch;
repeat from *, end B2
Repeat rows 1-4 for pattern. I worked
the 4-row set 5 more times
Border:
Rows 1-2: Knit across.
Bind off, weave in ends.
