Notes:
B = border stitch of 2 knit stitches on each side.
C2B: Knit 2nd stitch on
needle, leaving it on the needle, knit the 1st stitch, drop both

This design is done with Multiple of (8
+border) 16 + 4 Border = 20 stitches.
Cast on: 20
Border:
Row 1: Knit across.
Row 2: Knit across.
Pattern:
Row 1: BK2, *K3, P2, K2Tog, YO, C2B, P1; repeat
from *, end BK2
Row 2: BK2, *K2, P3, K2, P3; repeat from *, end
BK2.
Row 3: BK2, *K3, P1, K2Tog, YO, C2B, P2; repeat
from *, end BK2.
Row 4: BK2, *K2, P4, K1, P3; repeat from *, end
BK2.
Row 5: BK2, *K3, K2Tog, YO, C2B, K1, P2; repeat
*, end BK2.
Row 6: BK2, *K2, P8; repeat from *, BK2.
Row 7: BK2, *K2, K2Tog, YO, C2B, K2, P2; repeat
from *, end BK2.
Row 8: BK2, *K2, P8; repeat from *, end BK2.
Row 9: BK2, *K1, K2Tog, YO, C2B, K3, P2; repeat

For
a larger item such as a cloth, just add a combination of “8” stitches to
enlarge. You might want to also add a
few more border stitches as well.
