Materials:

1 skein of cotton yarn, #6 US Knitting Needles.

Note: B2: border stitches K2; K1 tbl, K1 through the back loop; P1 tbl, P1 through the back loop. For instructions on “through the back loop: check www.knittinghelp.com or do a Google search for video. It is easier to watch than to explain.

Cast on:   Multiple of 2 + 1 (17 + 4Border = 21)

Border:

Rows 1-2:   Knit across.

Pattern:

Row 1:        B2, *K1tbl, P1; Repeat from * to last 3: K1tbl, B2.

Row 2:        B2, *P1tbl, K1; Repeat from * to last 3: P1tbl, B2.

Repeat rows 1-2 for pattern. I worked the 2-row set 11 times

Border:

Rows 1-2:   Knit across.

Bind off, weave in ends.
