Cast on: Multiple of 9 stitches on a stockinette
background (I used 9 + 10 background + 4 border) = 23
Size: 5 ½ X 5 ½
This is a “panel” lace pattern. Panel designs can be used for table runners,
place mats or any other item that you want to show off a specific design
pattern.
It would depend on what you were
making on the number of stitches you might cast on. If you wanted a cloth, you could try 36 stitches
(3 Border, 4 Background, 9 Pattern, 4 Background, 9 pattern, 4 pattern, 3
border = 36)

Row 1: Knit AcrossRow 2: Knit Across
Pattern:
Row 1: (RS) K7, P1, K1, K2Tog, YO, K1, YO K2Tog TBL, K1, P1, K7Row 2: K2, P19, K2
Row 3: K7, P1, K2Tog, Yo, K3, YO K2Tog TBL, P1, K7
Row 4: K2, P19, K2
Repeat these 4 rows a total of 7 more
times.
Border:
Row 1: Knit AcrossRow 2: Knit Across
Bind off and weave in ends.
