Level of Difficulty:  Easy

Materials:  1 Skein cotton yarn
#7 US  Needle
Notes:
K1 b = Knit in back of stitch.

Multiple of 2+1 (for this swatch we will be adding 20+1 + 2 border = 23)
This is a simple design but is a good stitch for blankets, squares and has a little texture to it.  If you wanted to make a dishcloth, just make it 30 +1 + 6 border = 37 stitches.

Cast on 23 stitches

Border:
Row 1:           Knit across
Row 2:           Knit across

Pattern:
Row 1:           (WS) K1, P1, *K1 b, P1; repeat from * , end K1.
Row 2:           (RS) Knit Across

Repeat above 2 rows till desired length.  Knit 2 rows for border.

I repeated the 2 rows 14 more times and then knit the small border.
Bind off and weave in ends.
