Materials:
1 skein of
cotton yarn, #6 or #7 Knitting Needles.
Notes:
B = Border stitches K2
SKP=Slip 1,
Knit 1, pass slipped stitch over; K2Tog=Knit 2 stitches together;
YO=Yarn
over; P2Tog tbl=Purl 2 together through the back loop (check it out on
knittinghelp.com); P3Tog = Purl 3 stitches together.
Cast on: Multiple 7 (21 + 4Border = 25)
Border:
Rows 1-2: Knit
across.
Pattern:
Row 1: B2, K1, K2Tog, YO, K1, YO, SKP, *K2,
K2Tog, YO, K1, YO, SKP; repeat from *, end last 3: K1, B2.
Row 2: B2, *P2Tog tbl, YO, P3, YO, P2Tog; repeat from *, end B2.
Row 3: B2, K1, YO, SKP, K1, K2Tog, YO, *K2,
YO, SKP, K1, K2Tog, YO; Rep from * to last 3: K1, B2.
Row 4: B2, P2, YO, P3Tog, YO, *P4, YO,
P3Tog, YO; repeat from * last 4: P2, B2.
I repeated rows 1-4 six more time.
Rows 1-2: Knit
across.
Bind off and weave in ends.
