Materials: 1 skein of yarn
Needle: #6 or #7 US Needle
Cast On:
Multiple 9+3+Border
(18+3=21+4=25) 25
Notes: B2 = Knit 2 stitches on each end for
border. SSP: Slip 2 stitches, as if to knit, one at a time. Return them to left
needle one at a time in their new orientation. P2Tog through back loop.
Border:
Row 1-2: Knit across.
Pattern:
Row 1: (RS)
Knit across.
Row 2: (WS)
B2, P21, B2.
Row 3: B2, K3, *K2Tog, K1, YO,
K6; repeat from *, end B2.
Row 4: B2, P1, *P6, YO, P1,
P2Tog; repeat from * to last 4: P2, B2.
Row 5: B2, K1, *K2Tog, K1, YO,
K6; repeat from * to last 4: K2, B2.
Row 6: B2, P3, *P6, YO, P1,
P2Tog; repeat from * end B2.
Row 7: Knit across.
Row 8: B2, P21, B2.
Row 9: B2, *K6, YO, K1, SSK;
repeat from * to last 5: K3, B2.
Row 10: B2, P2, *SSP, P1, YO, P6;
repeat from * to last 3: P1, B2.
Row 11: B2, K2, *K6, YO, K1, SSK;
repeat from * to last 3: K1, B2.
Row 12: B2, *SSP, P1, YO, P6; repeat
from * to last 5:P3, B2.
Repeat rows 1-12 one more time and rows 1-6 once more.
